Dear mum and dad,
I’ve been listening to the loud bang from the huge guns.I’ve been putting my hands over my ears for hours!I hear all of the horses crying and dying and lying.I’m very hungry because I’ve been eating yucky dry crackers for my meals.I’ve been walking in the muddy trenches for very long now.I wish I could go home right now and see you again.My best friend Emmy got shot and died.

On thursday and friday all of the year threes stayed at school for one full night.When I set up my comfy bed I put up next to Claire and Emmy.I went happily asleep.In the morning I went to the slippery waterslide.Mr Western pushed me a bit too hard and ...CRASH!!!!! I went Right into the prickly bushes!I got to the middle and got covered with bubbles!Next l went to the hard obstacle course.I bet Juliette by two seconds.
